Briana Harris is a musician, artist manager, and creative entrepreneur with a focus on empowering creatives to do their best work. A versatile creator and collaborator, Bri has credits as a saxophonist, singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, and composer. Her debut album as a solo artist, When We’re Found, released Fall 2022, and contains 10 songs that explore personal stories and venture through an eclectic set of style and genre influences. 

Briana is a performing member, manager, and co-owner of The Burroughs, a Colorado based original funk and soul band. Since 2014, she has performed with the band for over 200 dates, including support slots for artists including the Steve Miller Band, The Motet, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. She is a songwriter and performer on all of the band’s recorded discography since 2015, including 8 singles and EPs, the studio album Got to Feel (2018), and the live album Sweaty Greeley Soul (2015). Briana co-created and musical directed The Burroughs original show with symphony orchestra, premiered with the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra in October 2021. 

Briana has performed with a variety of artists throughout Colorado and beyond, including the O’Jays, the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, Frankie Avalon, the Colorado Jazz Orchestra, and Annie Booth. Her additional recording credits include The Spencer Zweifel Quintet’s Before It’s Too Late (2022) and Backwoods Fancy (2021), Art Deco's Free Range (2018), The Cairn Project (2015), Socrates Garcia's Back Home (2016), David Caffey's All In One (2018) and Enter Autumn (2015), and Johnny Burroughs Day One (2019). Her writing credits include many horn arrangements with The Burroughs, original horn section writing for Clandestine Amigo, and original theme music co-composed with Johnny Burroughs for KUNC Radio’s Colorado Edition.   

Briana owns and operates Harris Artist Management, a full service management roster serving public visual artists. She is an in-demand clinician and educator with expertise in jazz performance and improvisation, music business, and arts administration. Briana is a voting member of the Recording Academy. She holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, and an undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies from The University of Alabama. She is especially passionate about career planning and development for young musicians, and she is available for private lessons, masterclasses, and public talks for students of all ages and abilities.
